Bom-Wrapper

The Memorial Candle Program has been designed to help offset the costs associated with the hosting this Tribute Website in perpetuity. Through the lighting of a memorial candle, your thoughtful gesture will be recorded in the Book of Memories and the proceeds will go directly towards helping ensure that the family and friends of S.G. Gabriel can continue to memorialize, re-visit, interact with each other and enhance this tribute for future generations.

Thank you.

Condolence From: Chrissie Jaje
Condolence: Love knows no boundaries when it comes to the Gabriel Family. My remembrances of SG was through his sister-in-law Elsie Mae Summey Gabriel (married to Paul Gabriel, SG’s brother). I was Elsie neighbor/care companion in Raleigh. SG and his wife Betty took me in and treated me as I were family and I will be forever grateful. I can not begin to tell you how much love this family shares, knowingly and unknowingly. YOU DO!

There is no doubt that SG was well loved and respected by his family, friends, the church and the community as well. HE WILL BE MISSED, ESPECIALLY HIS SMILE. He was of great character and had a big loving, giving heart!

To Chris and Betty, I know there is nothing for me to say that will make your loss easier but know that I am sending you my love and support. Please know that you're in my thoughts and prayers. I ask that the Lord give you strength during this sad time and reflect on SG's gift to you all. Sending my heartfelt sympathies to you.

Condolence: SG was the top of the heap, in all the ways that matter. A true Christian in a world where that is hard to discern. What a wonderful man; he will be deeply missed. Love to you from all the Beams of Harris and Lincolnton.

Condolence: I remember SG well. He led a full life. He was a very good man and a heck of an athlete. He had a great sense of what was moral and ethical and he lived those values. He had a great sense of humor and a quick wit. He spoke often of his wife Betty and his son Chris and always with a huge smile. His love of roses was legendary. I enjoyed getting to know SG and consider myself a better person for having known the entire family. I know the SG I knew will be sorely missed. My deepest sympathies go out to Betty and Chris. I will keep his family in my thoughts and prayers.
